Congratulations to Firebird Oyster 885 for her great result in the Superyacht Cup Palma last week In a hot fleet including a lightweight Southern Wind 94 a Swan 70 a Frers 88 a Hoek Classic and a Spirit 100 Firebird showed impressive pace and tactics in what was only her second outing following her launch just two months ago in April

The race committee set a 30 minute postponement with an announcement that they had no idea what the wind was going to do but could we all come out please to the starting area 30 minutes after the planned start and they would keep their fingers crossed that some wind would set in

Consistent wind at last one of the crew on the Oyster 825 Maegan exclaimed as we crossed the finish line in about the same wind as we started a big first for this years Loro Piana regatta however it was only 6 knots all day

The annual Oyster Brokerage Spring Show will be held at Oysters Ipswich facility from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 May 2016 The show will be open between 10am and 5pm each day as part of the Open Weekend at Foxs Marina

Following the success of the 2015 National Legend Yachts Weekend, the dates for the 2016 event have now been announced as the 14th & 15th May.
The weekend which takes place at Haslar Marina, Gosport, will see an array of used, new and owner’s Legend Yachts on display. It is a free event for the general public to attend; so if you want to find out more about the Marlow Legend brand then go along and take a look in a friendly and relaxed environment.

restaurant. Enjoy a free glass of Legend wine served aboard a yacht

Race Day Three of the Oyster Regatta Antigua was truly magnificent with the Oyster fleet enjoying exhilarating racing with solid Trade Winds piping up to 20 knots in brilliant sunshine and a turquoise Caribbean sea The race area for the third race of the series was the west and south west coast and with an easterly air flow there were several big wind shifts in the transition zone south west of Antigua

Antigua has a beach for every day of the year and without doubt one of the finest beaches on the Caribbean island was enjoyed to the full by the Oyster family on Lay Day for the Oyster Regatta Antigua
